I got meatloaf, yams and collard greens and it was so good! It came with cornbread which was also delicious. I will definitely be going back. Its been hard to find good soul food with a good price point in Concord. This was a pleasant surprise. The food was hot, fresh and seasoned well. Give them a try!!!

I was scrolling through door dash and Soul Kitchen popped up. I was looking for something fast and good for lunch with my son and they definitely hit the spot. The greens were amazing and the mac and cheese tasted better than it looked. The fish could have used a little more seasoning but all in all I would definitely order from Soul Kitchen again.

This is the banana pudding NO bananas .I was very disappointed with the banana pudding I received. The presentation and texture were not what I expected at all. The cookies had become completely mushy, the pudding appeared separated and inconsistent, and the overall product did not seem fresh or made with care. Unfortunately, I was unable to enjoy it.

I decided to try this place again, hoping if I tried something different, it'd WOW me. That wasn't the case. It still took a little while to be greeted. We stood there quite a bit of time waiting. I had been looking at an old menu on my phone so I ordered beef tips. The cashier didn't tell me the menu had changed and rang me up for pot roast. I didn't know until they called out my order that she'd done that. The pot roast was not good and the rice wasn't either. I've never had pot roast with bell peppers. It just didn't pair well for me. And they didn't have plain white rice and the seasoned rice just didn't taste good with this pot roast. The green beans were AWFUL!! They had so much pepper that it was overbearing. All you can really taste is pepper and beyond that, it didn't have any flavor. The yams were too sweet and inedible. So going forward I will save my money and skip this place. It's just not good and isn't worth what you're paying. I really wanted to like it but they just aren't hitting the mark.

I have been wanting to try this place since I noticed they were in the mall. I'm really not a fan that some of the meats are only available on certain days. It's caused me not to go several times. This particular day they had something I would want. I got the ribs, mac & cheese, collard greens, yams, and cornbread. Overall, it was just meh. I wouldn't be running to go back, if I even go back. I did feel it's a little pricey for what you get. I don't really want to spend $20 on one meal in the mall but that's just me (and that's doesn't include a drink). Service was slow, no one seemed to be moving fast at all as if they're on their own time. Ribs - 8/10 - They were very tender and just fell off the bone. They can use a little more seasoning but the BBQ sauce helped them to have flavor. Collard Greens - 5/10 - The collard greens really lack flavor and have a strong taste of vinegar in them. They just weren't very good. They need to be cooked in meat for flavor. Mac & cheese - 3/10 - This was my least favorite item. I thought they were awful. I let my daughter taste it she she felt the same. I don't know if it's the type of cheese used or a seasoning used but the taste was way o
